Are you one of those people who have the ability to make a pumpkin look alive? Your family recognizes your talent and you want the rest of the world to know. I don't know if we can reach the world but how about the Southern Tier?

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies continue to do things with the community even during their off-season. They are having a Jack-O-Lantern Carving Contest but you only have until Thursday (10/26) to submit a photo of your pumpkin creation/creations.

You can tweet your photo to @RumblePoniesBB using the #RowdyOLantern hashtag or send it to Eddie Saunders at eddie@bingrp.com.

The top three will be selected by the RumbleTown Front Office and then the fans will make the final decision on their Facebook page. Voting begins Friday, October 27th at 9 am and goes through Monday, October 30th at Noon.

The one with the most "likes" will be the winner. If that's you, you win a Rumble Ponies prize pack and the chance to throw a ceremonial first pitch during the 2018 season. If you need tips on the best way to throw the first pitch without embarrassing yourself, just get a hold of me and we'll talk.

Speaking of 2018, save the date Thursday, April 5th. It's the Ponies home opener against the Portland Sea Dogs. Check out the entire schedule here.

Back to the contest, you can create your own design, or use one of the four Ponies logos provided here. If you want to enter the contest but need some help with your design, my daughter Tara is really talented, call me and we'll chat.
