A restaurant that has provided great food and memories for almost 50 years is calling last call. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here. Domenic and Luigi Fata opened Brothers 2 restaurant in 1970.

The two brothers began the business when they bought Masi's Restaurant on Watson Boulevard in Endwell. Domenic has been running Brothers 2 for the past couple of years and now he is going to sell the place.

They've been passing a book around and encouraging you to share your memories. Here are mine:

I've DJ'ed many weddings throughout the years and found them to be accommodating and well organized. They were professional and it was always a great time.

I've enjoyed their all-you-can-eat spaghetti on Mondays and watching hockey. The kids have enjoyed the food and Bubble Hockey in the game room.

They are planning a celebration this Saturday (2/11) beginning at 5. It's the "official send off" for Domenic and his wife, Mary. One of the nearby Endwell restaurants are expected to take over the Brothers 2 property.

From one brother to another Brother, I'll miss the place and I wish you well.
