Introducing My New Nephew: Oliver Preston

I’ll tell you this; there is nothing prouder than holding a special baby in your arms. Babies are such an amazing gift and becoming an aunt regardless of whether it’s for the first or sixth time, is one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of a person’s life.

The newest member of our family decided to follow in the footsteps of his oldest aunt (that's me!) and be born a little early and in a snowstorm. My little brother Jeff and sister-in-law Ashley brought Oliver Preston into the world and into our family on Saturday December 29th at 8:52am in Albany. He weighs 6 pounds and 3 ounces and is 18 inches long. I couldn't be more in love with my new little jelly bean.  I'm already counting down the days until I can visit him for more baby kisses.
