Now you don't have to take an over-saturated picture of your lunch -- now you can take an over-saturated 15-second long video of your lunch.

Presumably to compete with Vine, Facebook has released Instagram Video, which lets people make videos up to 15 seconds long, delete parts of the video and choose their own thumbnail. Oh, and of course add filters. Because if there aren't filters, is it even Instagram?

People are already calling it the death of Vine, because people like to leap to conclusions before there is any data to back up their claims, and also because people love hyperbole. Like, basically everyone. That's pretty much a universal *fact.* See what we mean below.
