Important Reminder To Shovel Your Hydrants

While most of us were catching up on errands, watching the Olympics or enjoying a beverage, our friends at the West Corners Fire Department were getting an extreme workout digging out snow covered fire hydrants.

It's one of those things that many of us don't think about until it's too late.  The truth is, it's probably one of the most important things you can do today to help you, your family and neighbors.

So if you would, please do me a favor. Locate the nearest fire hydrant to your house and make sure it is snow free.
