Ian Somerhalder Won’t Play Christian Grey, But This Actor Will

It looks like my dream of Ian Somerhalder playing Christian Grey in the upcoming '50 Shades of Grey' movie are completely dashed. Yesterday, the Hollywood Reporter announced that 31-year-old Jamie Dornan will take the role.

If you're scratching your head saying "Jamie, who?" you're not alone.

Jamie isn't a big movie star, but you might recognize his face because he's most recently appeared on 'Once Upon a Time' as Sheriff Graham / The Huntsman. Jamie hasn't really had any movies that have hit theaters here, but he did have a part in Sofia Coppola's 'Marie Antoinette.'

Jamie was born in Ireland. He dated actress Keira Knightley for a couple of years, but broke things off with her and married English actress and singer-songwriter Amelia Warner.  In June of this year, it was announced that Jamie and Amelia are expecting their first child.

Rumor has it filming on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is set to begin on November 1st and the movie is expected to be released in late summer/early fall of 2014.
