It's here this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  The Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain.  Do you have your tickets yet? One of the acts that I'm looking forward too is Hunter Hayes.  He's playing Saturday night around 6pm. So what's new with Hunter?

Well, last Thursday, June 6th, a group of Hunter Hayes fans (or Hayniacs) as they like to be known — had the opportunity to attend a listening party for Hayes’ new album, ‘Encore.’ These Hayniacs got a first listen of the re-released bonus album. Hayes explained to his fans what ‘Encore’ actually is.

He chose to re-release his debut, working to re-record songs with different musicians. ‘Encore’ also includes a few new songs that Hayes has been playing to live audiences on tour. So you'll have a chance to hear them yourself on Saturday.

Hunter talked about the Hayniacs and being on tour saying “They’re amazing, I would never have dreamed that it would be this sweet to get to do what I do. I knew it was gonna be fun, but I never knew it would be this fun.” I have a feeling that is what a lot of people will be saying after this weekend at the Taste of Country Music Festival.

Hayes plays every instrument on his album but admits that he is afraid of....the fiddle.  He says he struggles at steel guitar but he won't give up on it. ‘Hunter Hayes (Encore)’ will be available for purchase next Tuesday the 18th. Here's more about Hunter as we get ready for his show this Saturday
