Talk about the opportunity of a lifetime! Country newcomer Hunter Hayes will not only be debuting his new song called I Want Crazy at Sunday’s ACM Awards, but he’s also teaming up with Stevie Wonder to perform during the award show!

According to R.A. Clark, the son of the late Dick Clark and executive producer of the ACM Awards, as the show producers were talking to Hunter about his musical influences, Stevie Wonder’s name came up. So they called up Stevie to see if he’d like to perform with Hunter and he said yes!

Reports say that Stevie Wonder knew all about who Hunter Hayes is and thinks the kid has a lot of talent so was eager to perform with him.

The American Music Awards air this Sunday evening on CBS.
