If your household income more than $200,000 a year, you're more likely to get audited, so go to a professional. If you self employed, freelancing, or a business owner, Your taxes are a little harder to do than just click some internet buttons. If you made money on investments last year in the stock market or you inherited a bunch of money, get a pro.

Last but not least, if you get married, started college, or had a baby hiring someone to do your taxes could save you some cash, they'll know all the deductions you supposed to get.
