Homeless Get Haircuts and Hope [WATCH]

A filmmaker by the name of Tyler Bridges has created a short film called 'What’s the Difference' that looks at what happens when homeless guys get a shower, a shave and a haircut.

In a recent interview, Bridges said, "We tend to look at someone suffering from homelessness and see him as a monster or someone you can't relate to at all. But  if you give him a shower and a shave and a fresh cut, he looks just like you or me. There isn't that big difference."

Bridges says one of the homeless men in the video was brought to tears after seeing his new look as was I when I watched the video. And what's more amazing is that so many of these men who've walked incredibly rough paths were left with a sense of hope.

"Our video had two goals," explained Bridges. "One was to humanize what it is to be homeless, and the other was to raise awareness of what you can do to get involved."  There's no doubt in my mind that goal was accomplished. Watch:
