As I get older I feel as though I’m starting to get more and more into the holiday spirit. I’ve always loved the decorations and creativity of people when it comes to the holiday season. That’s why when I had the chance to visit the Roberson Museum and Science Center last month I couldn’t contain my excitement.

The Roberson has been hosting Home for the Holidays for over 60 years, and this year’s display doesn’t disappoint. I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing event with WNBF’s Roger Neel and we were like kids in a candy store. Finding little details throughout the trees and rooms, and getting lost in all of the displays.

Home for the Holidays is a perfect place to take the family, your friends, maybe even a date (wink, wink) because it is such an original event that everyone can enjoy. I have been told that the displays and lights take on new life when the sun sets. My plan is to check out this gorgeous museum and mansion this upcoming Friday night to full experience the magic.
