The Binghamton Zoo is getting ready to call it a season for it's 143rd year but there is still a lot to do with the whole family. If you didn't have a chance to stop by during our Food-a-Bago to donate to CHOW, then you have another chance.

They are having a Community Weekend on Saturday, November 24th and Sunday, November 25th. Bring your donations of non-perishable food items to the zoo and you'll get FREE admission. What a great way to walk off that Thanksgiving dinner!

The Binghamton Zoo will have it's Holiday Drop & Shop event on Saturday, December 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 16th from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It's a great way for you to get some holiday shopping done or just a fun day for the kids. Drop & Shop is for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Registration is required and you can do that here.

The kids can play games, make crafts and if the weather permits, they can play in the snow. Lunch will be provided for all registered children and every family will get a 30% off coupon to be used on Binghamton Zoo merchandise at their booth at the Center Court of the Oakdale Mall. They'll be at Center Court during the month of December.

The 5th oldest zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton. The admissions booth is open on the weekends only from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the end of November.
