Highlights of the ‘Golden Globe’ Awards

The ‘Golden Globe‘ awards tend to be my favorite award show, probably because the stars seem more ‘loose’ and the format is less formal than some of the other shows.  Is it because the stars are sitting at tables with a full stomach and a few glasses of wine.  Maybe.

One of the highlights was seeing a less than amused Tommy Lee Jones when a very silly Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig presented a Golden Globe for “Best Lead Actress in a Comedy or Musical.”   It was clear that Tommy did not appreciate the two mocking his co-star, Meryl Streep.   Lighten up Tommy.
