How is that new year's resolution going to exercise more in 2016?  When it comes to exercise, people often have good intentions but usually put it off or don't do it at all.  In the old days, it was easy.  People would get their exercise by working on the land.

Fast forward to 2016 and life gets to busy to "work out," which explains why there are so many gyms in the Binghamton area that are pretty empty considering how many welcome mats are out.

If you already work out, get enough sleep and watch what you eat, congratulations, you should feel pretty good about yourself.  If you are thinking of buying a home gym or fitness membership at a nearby gym or if you're hoping to take more walks (or jogs) when the weather breaks here in the Southern Tier, here's what you need to do: schedule it in to your day, stop making excuses and just do it.  That's what I do and it works!

Give it 12 weeks.  Schedule it in to your phone.  Try to do it before work so you don't make excuses at the end of the day.  If that doesn't work, hit the gym or take that walk on your lunch hour.  If you need more discipline, try meeting a friend or family member for your workout or set up a trainer to get you on a schedule.  It's only 12 weeks.  I guarantee you too will feel better about yourself.
