We've just received word about a soldier who will be coming home tomorrow (Saturday), October 26th.  Unfortunately because of a previously scheduled event, the Hawk staff won't be able to be there ourselves, but we invite you to show up and stand in support.

Who: Ryan Ludwig of Greene

When: Please note that the time of Ryan's flight has been changed from 10:23am to 1:15pm- Saturday October 26, 2013

Where: Binghamton Airport

Other: Ryan has been serving in Afghanistan with the United States Marines.

Ryan has wanted to be in the Marines since he was a young boy. After high school he completed a year and a half of college at Broome Community College where he played on the soccer team for two seasons. Ryan joined the Marines and left for boot camp in December of 2011 and was stationed at 29 Palms in California while in the states. This past February, Ryan was sent to Afghanistan for eights months and will be returning home Saturday for two weeks.

If you will be standing for Ryan Saturday morning at the Binghamton Airport, please plan on arriving at the Binghamton Airport about 30 minutes before Ryan's scheduled arrival.  Please feel free to bring a sign or flag to hold.  Cameras are also perfectly acceptable.

Please feel free to spread the word to anyone else you think might be interested and thank you for taking time out of your life to welcome home our troops!
