Tell me the truth.  Did you start listening to country music because of the words or the message it brought?  I know lots of people I meet have said this to me.  Some of that has been missing in country music with the "Bro-Country" sounds of the past few years but it looks like country is starting to return to music with a good message and strong song- writing with artists like Cam, Granger Smith and even some country music icons releasing some of their best music ever.

Tim McGraw and Reba McEntire just released new songs that have fans going crazy on Facebook and Twitter.

Tim's song 'Humble and Kind' radiates with his fans of all ages because of it's big powerful message.  In this day of negative politics and polarizing news that only divides people of all backgrounds, this song brings the simple yet powerful reminder to be "Humble and Kind."  Some two decades into his career, Tim has said publicly that it's one of his favorite, if not the favorite song he has ever had the privilege of recording.  Even Oprah Tweeted: "Tim, I love this song. Every word feels true."  That in itself is powerful!

Reba McEntire also has a powerful and personal new song that has our listeners on 'Taste of Country Nights' raving. 'Just Like Them Horses,' pays tribute to her father Clark McEntire, the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame member who died in October 2014 at age 86. The video was filmed entirely on the family's land in Chockie, Oklahoma, where the singer lived for 21 years. Also appearing in the video with Reba is Clark McEntire's widow, Reba's mother Jacqueline.
