The Binghamton Senators are playing their best hockey of the season. I just hope it's not too late. They defeated Syracuse yesterday afternoon 4-2 and they've won 3 games in a row! Go here to find out how they did it.

They play at home this Friday and Saturday. Friday, Hershey comes to town on 'Hall of Fame Night'.

Bob Moppert, Rob Zamuner and Scott Allegrino, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a pregame ceremony.

Bob passed away in 2011. He was a longtime organist for the Broome Dusters and the Binghamton Mets. He was one of the founding members of the Binghamton Whalers Hall of Fame, which is now called the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame.

Bob was the Chairman of the All-Star organizing committee that made the 2008 AHL All-Star Event such a success. Moppert’s wife, Carol, will be accepting the award on his behalf.

Rob, 45, played parts of two seasons with the Binghamton Rangers. He came to Binghamton at the beginning of the 1990-91 season. He moved onto the NHL where he skated for 13 years and played in over 700 NHL games.

He had 155 points including 44 goals in 141 games over his two seasons with Binghamton.

Rob works for the NHL Players Assocation as a Divisional Player Representative. He currently lives in Oakville, Ontario with his wife Ann and their 3 kids Soren, Alex and Maeve.

Scott Allegrino is  a Binghamton native. He began working in the locker room as a young teen with the Binghamton Whalers and became the Assistant Equipment Manager while still in high school.

He graduated from Seton Catholic Central in 1990. He left for the East Coast
Hockey League where he worked with the Winston-Salem Thunderbirds.

In 2002 Allegrino returned home becoming the Head Equipment Manager for the Binghamton Senators in their inaugural season.

He remained through the 2004-05 before being hired by the B-Sens NHL affiliate the Ottawa Senators at the beginning of the 2005-06 season.

He's finishing up his 9th season as the Head Equipment Manager in Ottawa. During the off-season, Allegrino and his wife Roberta live in Binghamton with their 10-year-old daughter, Emily.
