Guy Accidentally Sells Girlfriend’s Cat on Craigslist

Have you ever tried to do something nice for someone, only to have it blow up in your face? To say that's what happened to this guy would definitely be an understatement.

Roy Dufek thought he'd do something nice for his lady friend  by stopping by her place while she was at work to sell a bed she was wanting to unload to someone who saw the ad on Craigslist.

At some point, Camo the cat belonging to Roy's girlfriend, jumped inside the box spring. The Craigslist buyer left the apartment and it wasn't long after that Roy discovered that Camo was missing.

"I called Hayley and I said, ‘I don’t know what to do,'” Roy said.

“He tried to find Camo when the (buyer) left my apartment,” said Hayley. “He searched and searched and tore the place apart. The cat wasn’t there. He told me, and right away, I knew that he had hid in the box spring.”

Hayley said the box spring was a place Camo loved to hide, so she taped it, but had untaped it so she could sell the bed. Apparently Camo rediscovered one of his favorite places to hide.

So where is Camo now?

WE FOUND CAMO!!!" Roy wrote earlier this week in an email to friends, family and the media.

A stranger reported seeing Camo, so Roy and Hayley set up a live trap on Saturday night, baited with sardines and a piece of clothing from their apartment. Ninety minutes after setting the trap, Roy stopped by the trap and found a  very agitated Camo hissing inside.
