I knew that Google had a bunch of branches, but I'd never heard of Google X...until recently. Google X is a semi-secret facility run by Google dedicated to making major technological advancements. And they want your blood.

Researchers at Google X say that they're working on a project which involves a pill that you could swallow to regularly sweep your bloodstream for diseases at their earliest points of development.

The idea of the pill is to let disease-detecting nano-particles float around your system and beam any data and discoveries they find about your insides to a wristband.

The scientist in charge of the project says they’re trying to change medicine from reacting to symptoms to preventing things from happening and jumping on cures quickly.

This does sound cool, but think about all the ways it could go wrong too. I'm not so sure I'd want a bunch of nano-particles floating around my blood and Google knowing exactly what’s going on inside my body. That creeps me out. How about you? Would you give it a try?
