If you're like "wait, what?" because you don't know about the taco licker, here's the scoop:

A picture of an unidentified Taco Bell employee licking a stack of empty taco shells made it’s way to the company’s Facebook page on Monday.

The taco shells were being used for training purposes and were about to be thrown out- they were never going to be sold to customers, but Taco Bell freaked and issued a statement calling it "unacceptable" and a violation of "our food handling procedures with a stack of tacos." "Two employees used them to take a photo for an internal contest in which the company and franchise employees could submit for approval photos of themselves enjoying their first bite of the product."

Both the employee in the photo and the employee who took the photo were fired.
