The Animal Care Council is like family to me after I adopted some beautiful kittens from them a few years back. The photo you see is of my orange tabbies, HeHee and HaHaa, with their brother Sandy in the middle. Anyway, tomorrow night ACC is holding their annual wine and beer tasting!

The ACC does some rewarding work in the Greater Binghamton area. They are responsible for helping to place homeless cats, kittens and dogs in forever homes. They also offer a popular low-cost spay and neuter program to help control our animal population.

In order to keep the doors open to the Animal Care Council, fundraisers are essential.  That's why they are hoping you'll stop by their annual Wine and Beer Tasting Friday night 5:30-9pm at the (Knights of) Columbus Hall, across from St. James Church in Johnson City, at 126 Main Street.

In addition to wine tasting, 2 local breweries will be joining the party!  There will also be light hor d'oeuvres, a silent auction and some great raffles.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly towards the operating budget of ACC and allow them to continue their mission to help as many animals in our community as possible.

Tickets will be available at the door on Friday night. You can also save $5 by picking them up in advance at the Animal Care Council, 131 Washington Ave in Endicott or at the following ACC supporters:  Vestal Wine & Liquors, 4 Corners Plaza, Vestal, Kathy's Dog Grooming, 95 Bevier Street, Binghamton, Health Beat, 214 Main Street, Johnson City, A Frame Shoppe, 320 Water Street (on the River Walk), Binghamton.

If you are interested in donating either time or items for the raffles, please call Leslyn: 607-238-7409, or email them at accinfo@stny.rr.com.
