Free Music in the Parks

With only a chance of pop up showers expected this week, the weather will be hot and in my mind, perfect for hanging out with some good music at a nearby park.  Call a friend, make it a inexpensive date night by packing some food, grab a lawn chair or blanket and catch some free music.

Here's where you can catch some good tunes this week in the Southern Tier:

Tuesday -  Highland Park will feature Alex and Freddy Mendoza at 7pm.  The Vestal Gazebo is highlighting Music Unlimited Little Big Band at 7pm Tuesday.

Thursday - Chenango Bridge Park will feature the Southerntiersmen at 7pm at the park located at 1529 NYS Route 12 in Binghamton.  The Vestal Community Band will play Arnold Park Shelter 3 on Andrews Road in Vestal at 7pm.

Friday - Catch the Hats Off Band, playing the Newark Valley Railroad Depot at 7pm.  The Windsor Band Concert Series will feature the Cellar Yellers at 6:30pm on the Windsor Green at Main and Chapel Streets in Windsor.
