Binghamton University to Host 11th Annual Health Fair
Maybe you’re like me and you told yourself that this was the year you were going to get into shape, but then life happened and things didn’t go exactly as planned, right? Well, guess what? The year is still young and there’s still time to get your health where it needs to be.
I don’t know if you’ve heard, but march is National Nutrition Month and to help with the motivation you’re looking for, Binghamton University will host its 11th annual Health Fair from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Wednesday, March 22nd in the Recreation Center, East Gym, on the Binghamton University campus. The Health Fair is completely free and open to the public.
At the Health Fair, you’ll have the opportunity to visit with more than 70 community businesses and non-profit organizations as well as food vendors. The focus of the Health You’ll also be able to take advantage of free health screenings, tours, mediation sessions and fitness demos.
Cindy Cowden, senior associate director of campus recreation and chair of B-Healthy: the Healthy Campus Initiative says, “Wellness plays a significant role in the success, satisfaction, and retention of Binghamton University students, faculty, and staff. It is our priority to create and promote a culture where healthy choices are the easy choices. The Health Fair is a great community event that offers a comprehensive look at wellness and what it means to live a balanced lifestyle, both on campus and off. We look forward to our continued partnership with both Binghamton University Dining Services and our community partners.”
