Frankie Ballard Pays Tribute to Johnny Cash
Thursday was Johnny Cash's birthday. It's hard to believe the singer-songwriter-actor-author has been gone for over 11 years. Our Country Lights headliner Frankie Ballard honored the legendary Man in Black, putting together a playlist of his personal favorite Cash songs exclusively for Rdio
Growing up in Michigan, Cash was one of his music idols. The 'Sunshine & Whiskey' singer admits his "sound" is the product of many different artists and thanks artists like Johnny Cash, Howlin' Wolf, Jerry Reed and Bob Seger as some of his greatest influences.
