We love our technology, specifically our cell phones, but they don't always love us back. Women's Day says these are four real-life injuries that doctors say people are experiencing.

    Blackberry Thumb

Nobody that I know uses a Blackberry anymore, but the thumb problem popped up when people did use them and all the texting and typing on the tiny keyboard was part of everyday life. Touchscreens are definitely easier on our thumb, but if you do have thumb pain, try using other fingers to text or do yourself a favor and set your phone down for a bit.

    Text Claw

You know when you've held your phone up for a really long time and you get that cramping pain in your wrist? That pain has a name and it's called text claw is. When you hold your wrists in a certain position for a long period of time (like when you're texting), it can cause damage all the way up to your elbows.

    Posture Related Neck Pain

It kind of goes without saying that if you look down at your phone all day, you'll eventually end up with neck pain and strain. All of the studies I've seen on this say that looking down at your phone puts an insane amount of pressure on your spine and over time, that pressure can turn to pain.

    Tennis Elbow

No, we're not really talking about the problem many tennis players suffer from, but it's exactly the same. If you bend your elbow when looking at your phone, it can cause the same symptoms as tennis elbow.
