The Chenango Forks Blue Devils won their third consecutive New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class C Football Championship Friday night in the Carrier Dome as they defeated Greenwich 42-7.  The Blue Devils were up 21-7 at the half and added three more touchdowns to cruise to their third straight state title and fifth overall.

The Forks dominated play for much of the game.  Cody Lamond was a standout for Chenango Forks.  He accounted for 189 yards rushing with three touchdowns on 12 carries. Overall, the Blue Devils rushed for 477 yards and gained 25 yards for a total of 502 yards.  Greenwiich ran for 142 yards and added 65 yards through the air for a total of 207 yards.
