Time to go back in time.  When we were young and didn't know any better.  A time when dancing could solve so many things.  Time to go back and get "Footloose."

The Chenango Valley High School Theater Department is getting Footloose and your final chance to see "Footloose, The Musical" is today at 2 pm. The musical is based on the 1984 dance film starring Kevin Bacon(Wow, he looked so young then, but didn't we all.) The show features Matt Vegiard as Ren McCormack (Kevin in the movie). Megan Santa Croce plays the Minister's daughter Ariel, that Ren falls in love with.

I remember the song "Footloose" originally done by Kenny Loggins.  I had forgotten about some of the other songs that were in the movie and on the soundtrack:  Holding out for a Hero, Almost Paradise and Let's hear it for the Boy. The production will feature those songs as well as some new music too. It's 80's memories for people like me.  It will be new memories for others.

The Theater Department is responsible for their own funding so please support them. I want to thank all who attended the first 2 nights. They had a wonderful turnout both evenings.  It'll be held at the CV High School Auditorium. You can get tickets at the door.
