This weekend is Memorial Day weekend. It's a chance to remember and honor those who gave the veterans that gave the  ultimate sacrifice. Speaking of veterans.

If you're into football....and who isn't...then you probably know the name Brian Cushing. He plays for the Houston Texans. His dad served in the military. He understands the military life and he's found a way to give back.

He's started a program at the Houston Veterans hospital and it's called Cushing's Corner. He's donated to mobile lockers filled with electronic gadgets and video games.

Cushing's Corner has things like iPads, Nintendo DS systems, portable DVD players, movies and two big screen televisions.

He knows that being in the hospital isn't much fun because it involves a lot of being bored and waiting, so he wanted to do something to bring fun and to help pass the time while the veterans were being treated.

He's known for being tough on the field but it's obvious that he's a softie when it comes to helping the veterans. Which makes him plenty tough to me.

Thanks, Brian.
