If your St. Patrick's Day celebrating includes beer, chicken nuggets, frozen pizza or pistachios, you better double check the latest recall information.

Southern Tier grocery stores are on alert to a number of food (and one beverage) recalls this week that could have people in the Greater Binghamton pretty sick.  Stores around the Southern Tier are taking the items off the shelves but some of these items may already be in your house.

According to CNBC, Nestlé issued a voluntarily recall of select DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine, and Stouffer's products. "Products include DiGiorno Thin & Crispy Spinach and Garlic Pizza, Lean Cuisine Spinach and Mushroom Pizza, and Stouffer's Spinach Soufflé because of glass found in the spinach on these items.  Consumers can call Nestle at 1-800-681-1676 if they have questions."

One of the largest marketers of pistachios, Wonderful Pistachios is voluntarily recalling a limited number of flavors and sizes of in-shell and shelled pistachios due to a risk of Salmonella contamination after at least 11 people became sick with Salmonella.  These contaminated nuts are also under the name of Trader Joe's and Paramount Farms brands. You may want to check your freezer if you buy Applegate Naturals chicken nuggets.   The recall affects 8 oz. packages with the "best used before date" of September 27 distributed in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Indiana and Massachusetts.  No injuries have been reported with the findings of small pieces of plastic. Consumers should return the items to their grocery stores for a full refund.

And glass is the culprit in 12 and 18-packs of Corona Extra.  If you're stocked up on Corona for St. Patty's Day celebrating, you better check the codes on the cardboard packages and on the necks of the bottles.  Visit the Corona web site HERE for production codes that are involved in this voluntary recall.
