'Get Your Shine On' by the Florida Georgia Line is one of the Hawk's biggest new songs, zooming up the national charts and poised to be a contender for the group's second number one.

The success of 'Cruise' last Summer positioned the group as one of the hottest new duos in country music.  The energy they bring to today's country is getting noticed by fans in Binghamton and even the Binghamton Senators.

It's no secret that Binghamton's hockey team are big fans of country music.  The B-Sens had a very successful 'country night' a couple of weeks back with Glenn Pitcher, Traci Taylor and Rich Birdsall all participating in their first-ever B-Sens tribute to country music.

The B-Sens are big in our community, always trying to raise awareness for local charities and have been working with the local Mental Health Association.

Begining Monday February 4th, you have a chance to win an autographed some Florida Georgia Line swag, including their latest CD and 4 Binghamton Senators tickets. To qualify, listen for Rich Birdsall's 'Terrific Trivia Question' all next week on 98.1 the Hawk.

Here's a little background from the Binghamton Mental Health Association:

Youth are not immune to mental illness. Up to one in five youth are affected by mental illness but only one in six of them will receive treatment. Add to the sad fact that we lose children and youth to suicide each year and it is simple to see the youth mental health is something to which we need to pay serious attention to.

Thanks to the Binghamton Senators for their help with this great cause that helps so many in our community.

And now, let's 'Cruise' with the Florida Georgia Line!
