First Friday Art Walk Returns to Downtown Binghamton This Friday

I love First Friday in downtown Binghamton because there's so much to see and do and one of the things I'm most looking forward to this Friday is checking out my friend Alicia "AJ" Wagner's art exhibit.

AJ is a local EMT and artist and whether you work in the medical field or like artwork that is deep and a bit dark, I know you'll love her work. AJ's exhibit: "nine and eleven: the artist in the ambulance" will be shown at Community Options on State Street starting at 6pm Friday.

If you've never been to the First Friday Art Walk, here’s what you need to know:

The First Friday Art Walk is held each month on the first Friday of the month (thus the name!) from 6-9pm in downtown Binghamton.  The walk is sponsored by the Gorgeous Washington Street Association. GWSA members plan special activities, art showings and live entertainment.

There will be 31 locations featuring art, entertainment and more Friday evening and the best part is that checking it all out doesn’t cost you a penny. Get the scoop on First Friday Art Walk here and maybe we’ll bump into each other Friday night!
