Phillip Evans hits a 3 run homer to help the Binghamton Mets score 4 in the 7th to help Binghamton come from behind to beat Hartford 7-5. Read all about it here.

They look to keep their winning ways going at NYSEG Stadium tonight. This evening, I hope you'll come early and stay late.

A lot is going on and you can save money and help out a great cause at the same time. The Binghamton Salvation Army is celebrating Celebrate Salvation Army Night.

I want to thank them for asking me to throw out the first pitch, so if you have a chance to come to the game early, I hope you will. It'll give me a chance to show that Pitcher isn't just my last name.

Here's the exciting part. You can get tickets for $6 with 50% of the discounted sales going to The Salvation Army. They are available online here or call 607-723-METS (6387). Use "ARMY" as the code to get the discounted prices.

The Salvation Army truck will be parked at the side gate for the donations of gently used clothing. Red kettles and bells will be at the stadium collecting monetary donations to benefit those in need in our own area. The Salvation Army will be giving away t-shirts, ticket vouchers, stress balls and more.

Mr. Met will be coming from Flushing for the first time in 4 years as well. It's Friday night at the ballpark so that means that you'll end the night with a B-Met win and Fireworks. Sounds like a great night to me.

I hope to see you tonight. Those that know me, know that I'm a modified softball pitcher. They have asked me if I'm gonna throw my "Knuckle Puss" ball. One way to find out....Be there for the 1st pitch.

This is also one of the last chances to take a selfie with the Hawk Toyota Tundra. It'll be outside in front of the stadium, so take a picture with the vehicle on your way into the ballpark.

The official first pitch is at 7:05. See you tonight and LET'S GO METS!
