Final Work Underway to Finish Riverside Drive Reconstruction

If you haven't noticed but it's been an adventure trying to drive on Riverside Drive by the Johnson City line. I hope you weren't in a hurry and trying to get to Lourdes Hospital.

The good news is that final work is underway now to complete the Riverside Drive Reconstruction according to Mayor David....or is it.

The final work is underway to complete Phase II of the Project from Beethoven Street to the Johnson City line. Crews are finishing sidewalk and street utility upgrades, so walking in the area could be a little tricky as well.

The work should be complete in late May so you may want to alter your travel plans a little for the next month. As always pay attention to the orange construction pipes in the road.

Because if you don't pay attention to them, they are still there and BAM, trouble...That sounds like a life lesson.
