We've had so many requests to bring Brian and Tyler of Florida Georgia Line back for a HAWK weekend.  I think because they are fun and have stories to tell.  I'm happy to say that 'Country Countdown USA' host Lon Helton will have FGL on the show this Sunday night 7-10pm on 98.1 The HAWK.

Brian & Tyler have many great memories from 2015. They played for over a million fans on their Anything Goes Tour. They played 11 stadiums with Luke Bryan. They had a couple of #1 songs during the year. On the personal front, Tyler got married.

There were a couple guys in the Top 30 at Tyler's wedding: Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge. Brett in fact wrote a song that was part of Tyler's wedding video called "Drunk On Your Love." Tyler explained: "We used to jam that song all the time. It's always felt like a big song to me. BK & I have talked about if Brett doesn't cut this song, we're gonna cut it." The good news is that Tyler's wedding song was just announced as Brett's next single.

Speaking of singles, FGL's current hit, "Anything Goes" is in the Top 5. The guys didn't write it, but they contributed the opening line "Alabama on the boom box baby." Brian recalled: "We put those lines in that song. There was nothing there originally, our producer wanted to put something in there, and Tyler & I put our heads together and came out with 'Alabama on the boom box baby, bout to get a little boondocks crazy.' That's kind of how Cruise came about too. We just made it better."

Although it hasn't been officially announced, the guys told Lon they'll be performing their next single, "Confession," on the CMA Awards in a couple weeks.

Brian & Tyler also have great stories this week about Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Chris Janson, and Frankie Ballard.
