Finally! I hate when I see people doing the dumbest things, that turn out to be hoaxes in real life. Some of it is camera trickery, yes. However, some are flat out lies, typed over pictures, false news stories that are not only horrific, but also unbelievable. Of course, you click 'repost' and look like a dork when it comes out that the story was false.

Hoaxes degrade any publicly used forum. It may be hilarious for the poster to convince you to put your iPhone 6 in the microwave (thanks, 4Chan) for a "super quick charge" but people hold your website responsible when your phone is obviously destroyed. Not legally, but deep in your heart, it's "DANG YOU FACEBOOK!"

Now, when you see a false news story, whether it's a link, picture, or video, you can report it as false.

"This works in the same way as reporting a story as spam" Facebook says on their blog roll. "When you click to hide a story you also have the option to report the content."
