Exploding Vape Cause [WATCH]

WBNG reported a story that hit our socials and quickly became the talk of the town a couple of days ago. It was about a vape that exploded in a drivers lap causing a car crash, fire on the mans clothing and burns. I suspected there was an issue with his batteries when I read the story. I took to the closest Vapor King to ask about why the accident happened.

I sat down with Steven for a few minutes to talk with him about what is an obvious battery issue with the vape in question. Battery maintenance is key to vaping safely. The plastic covering on the batteries is installed for a reason, and if yours is frayed or chipped in any way it should be dealt with. You don't have to replace the battery.
