What a difference 24 hours makes. Yesterday the Dick's Sporting Goods Open started their first day of Pro-Ams. That's where four amateurs play with one of the Pro's that will be competing in the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. The people golfing in yesterday's Pro Ann only got to play 15 of En-Joie's 18 holes due to flooding. 24 hours later all, 18 holes are open.

It is amazing what the crew at En-Joie and the P.G.A. accomplished in a day and a half. Check out the pictures below from yesterday morning compared to this morning.

I kept score for Joey Sindelar's Pro-Am team yesterday afternoon. After the team finished the Par 5 12th hole, We road the carts halfway across the course and resumed play on the Par 4 16th. Holes 13, 14 and 15 were taken out of play. There was a lake between the 13th. green and the tee boxes for holes 14 and 4. And hole 15's fairway was completely under water late Tuesday night.

I seriously think the PGA could take a parking lot and turn it into a golf course within a week or two. It's just amazing how much water has been pumped off En-Joie, and that the course is in great condition for not just the Pro-Ams today, but for the actual tournament itself which tees off Friday morning.

Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that the rain that's in the forecast for tomorrow avoids Endicott altogether.
