Equine Therapy Golf Tournament Benefit Next Week

Here's a chance to enjoy a day of golf and help out kids with disabilities in our area. It's next Thursday (8/20) at the Vestal Hills Country Club with Cloud Nine.

Cloud Nine is a therapeutic riding center in Brackney, PA. They help children with disabilities with equine therapy. Their big fundraiser is next week and it'll give you a chance to help out this awesome program.

They are a 501C-3 non-profit organization that specializes in offering equine therapy and recreation to children (and adults) with physical, mental or emotional disabilities in our area.

They offer the opportunity to enrich their lives by improving their physical, emotional and psychological state through horseback riding. Safety is their number one goal so note that they have special policy on weight limitations.

They'll meet about your special needs so call ahead and arrange your riding accommodations.  All riders are welcome to come and visit their facility but make an appointment with Pat Dickinson, the director and owner of Cloud 9.

The tournament at Vestal Hills Country Club, 3115 Webb Road in Binghamton begins at 1pm. If you don't want to golf, you can just come for dinner as well.
