"The Hungry Ear" is a library program that celebrates the art of the short story and is bringing some Christmas Cheer to Binghamton today at the Broome County Library.

Three holiday stories will be presented on a theme you might not think of for the holidays: criminal mischief!

"The 13th Day of Christmas" by Isaac Asimov is about fending off a terrorist. "A Present for Santa Sahib" by H.R.F. Keating hints that the jolly fellow might be hiding something and "And All Through the House" by Ed McBain is set in a police station.

These stories have been selected by host Judy McMahon and will be delivered in a dramatic fashion by local actors.

'Festive Felonies' is free and open to the public. The Program will begin at 5:30pm this evening at the Broome County Library.
