Police are trying to find a man who tried to rob a convenience store in Endicott.

Authorities say the incident happened around 11:20 Saturday night at Bella Mini-Mart at 132 West Main Street in the village's Union District.

Detectives say a man entered the store and displayed what appeared to be a handgun.

The man was last seen running from the business heading east on West Main Street.
