(Singing) So where or where is Suzie at, oh where oh where is she at.  Ok, I'm done singing now.

Suzie is my daughter Tara's Elf on the Shelf. This has just become a tradition at the Pitcher household.  Suzie reports back to Santa every night and lets Santa know whether she has been naughty or nice. If you haven't heard about Elf on the Shelf, I've talked about it in other articles on the website.  Two things you need to know about Elf on the Shelf: You can't touch the elf or it'll lose it's magic power and it always comes back to a different place in the house every morning.

Suzie has been in Tara's bedroom, and sitting with Sir Washington, my 7 foot knight(which you can also read about in another article.)  This morning, Suzie is sitting on the piano by the Christmas tree holding Tara's favorite ornament.  It's a glass snowman.  Tara cleans and dusts the ornament every day.  If you look close at the picture, you can see Suzie clutching the snowman.  Since Suzie is Tara's elf, I think what Tara likes is what Suzie will like too.

The good thing is that Suzie loves the ornament.  The bad thing is that since you can't touch Suzie, that means Tara won't be able to clean the snowman today.  If you look to the right of Suzie's leg, you can see the snowman's wash cloth.  I'm going to suggest to Tara that she ask Suzie to dust the snowman for her today.  We all look forward to the adventures of Suzie, our Elf on a Shelf.  We'll find out where she is tomorrow, unless she ends up on this keyboard.
