Easter is closer than you think. And with that in mind, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is planning a huge Eggstravaganza on Sunday, April 20th from Noon-4pm.  The popular Eggstravaganza involves eggs, animals and families from everywhere in the Southern Tier.  People are already calling the zoo to find out more about it.

Kids visiting the zoo with adults will be able to search for colored eggs scattered in baskets throughout the zoo.  Pick up one of each color and turn them in for zoo prizes on your way out.  This is a great opportunity to meet our furry and feathered friends and find out what is new at the 5th oldest zoo in America.

In addition to an egg-cellent time locating eggs, there will be crafts and a photo opp with the Easter Bunny for just $5.00.

Ross Park zoo officials are gearing up for a busy weekend as the official opening day is Saturday April 19th, but one thing is certain, the animals have been waiting a long Winter to greet new and returning friends.

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is located on Binghamton's South side at 60 Morgan Road.  For more information on this and other activities at the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, you can call the zoo at (607) 724-5461 x222.
