Ed Ulfik of Chenango Ambulance and Oxford Police Department Passes Away

We're incredibly sad to tell you that Ed Ulfik, a medic for Chenango Ambulance and the Oxford Police Department has passed away.

Last week we asked you to keep Ed in your thoughts and prayers as he was struggling to hold onto life following a pulmonary embolism and subsequent cardiac arrest on March 22nd.

This morning it was announced through Ed's Facebook support group that that due to severe swelling of the brain, and being deemed brain dead, those who love Ed made the difficult decision to let him move on.

The previously planned benefit for Ed, scheduled for April 5th at the Chenango Fire Company will go on as planned. Funds raised will now be redirected to a funeral and all of his other bills.
