Ben Jones. You might remember him as 'Cooter' on "The Dukes of Hazzard". He'd like you to know that the Confederate flag is a symbol of,  "heritage, not hate, and pride, not prejudice."

In a long Facebook post, he said, "Our beloved symbol is now being attacked in a wave of political correctness that is unprecedented in our nation of free speech and free expression." Look:

"Activists and politicians are vilifying Southern culture and our heritage as being bigoted and racist. We know that this is not the case. And we know that in Hazzard County there was never any racism."

Before you hop on the Confederate bus with our friend Ben, remember he stands to lose some serious money if the flag is abolished (like slavery was, see what I did there?). He owns three "Dukes of Hazzard" themed stores in Tennessee and Virginia.

What would he be selling if he couldn't have the flag in there? A General Lee with an American flag on the roof? Guess what Ben, It has been done. I owned one when I was a kid! They made a mistake. There was a "General Grant" Roadrunner that was in an episode. Whoever made that run of Lee's put The Grant's Flag on it!
