‘Duff Beer’ Will Soon Be a Reality

'Simpsons' fans, rejoice! Homer Simpson’s favorite beer will soon make the leap from the small screen to bars across the world.

21st Century Fox, the studio behind 'The Simpsons,' will officially roll out a real-life version of Duff Beer in Chile this month and there's a chance it'll hit other countries in South America and Europe by early next year.

“I think there’s potential to have Duff everywhere in the world,” Jeffrey Godsick, president of the Fox's consumer products division told The Wall Street Journal.

Fox says they're getting into the beer business because they’ve seen unauthorized versions of Duff beer all around, especially in Chile.

What will the beer taste like? Godsick says, “It’s a premium lager,” he said. “It’s got a very good balance of flavor and refreshment to it. It’s fairly deep golden in color. It’s got a hint of fruit to it. It’s got a caramel aromatic to it.”
