Drugs Seized at Johnson City Motel

Investigators say they confiscated 291 bags of heroin in a Johnson City motel room April 7.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force searched a room at the Red Roof Inn and arrested 29 year old Daniel Brown of the Bronx.

In addition to the drugs, officials say they found some cash and a small amount of marijuana.

Brown is charged with felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.  He’s also charged with a violation count of unlawful possession of marijuana.

Brown was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
