North Side Roots is a group of residents working together to make a difference in the lives of other Binghamton residents and they're asking for our community to come together to help gather donations for a local family who lost all of their possessions in an electrical fire.

According to a press release from the United Way of Broome County, these are the specific household and clothing items needed the most.

Kitchen Items
Pots and pans, silverware, dishes and cups

Bedding Items
Full sheets, twin sheets, blankets and a play crib or playpen

Children's Clothing and Shoes
Boys size 2T and shoes size 7C, girls clothing size 18-24 months and shoes size 5C, boys pants size 7 and shoes size 8 1/2.

Adult Clothing and Shoes
Men's pants size 38"x30" and 32"x30," men's shirts size M, L and XL, men's shoes size 11, women's pants size 16-18 and XL, women's shirt size L and XL and women's shoes size 6 1/2 and 8 1/2.

Donations can be dropped off at the Lee Barta Community Center, 108 Liberty Street in Binghamton on Wednesday, July 1st from 3pm-6:30pm and Thursday, July 2nd from 3pm-5pm.
