Last week, escaped prisoners Richard Matt and David Sweat were added to the U.S. Marshals Service's list of the top 15 most wanted fugitives, prompting even more interest in finding them.

According to PIX 11,the Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the capture of either man, while state police are offering $50,000 for each or $150,000 all together for both men.

Enter Duane Chapman. You may know him better as "Dog The Bounty Hunter." Dog and his crew are now following the manhunt for the two escaped prisoners.

TWCNews chatted with Dog who told them, "Once they put them on the top 15, then we're after them but you've got to be very careful. You can't go up there and jump in the cops' crime scene or go through the cabin and look for stuff. You've got to be very, very careful not to step on anybody's toes."

Does this mean that Dog and his crew are definitely on the case? Not quite. At least not physically.

Dog's wife Beth Chapman hinted to the Buffalo News on Tuesday that the team might be heading to New York, but it doesn't appear they're physically involved in the search just yet. Beth said, “We’ve been on this case for the past week and a half, and I think we may be there sooner or later.”  In a separate interview with TWCNews, Dog said that his website has been receiving two tips an hour about the whereabouts of the two escapees. So, it sounds like they're focusing on gathering information, but that there's a good possibility they'll join authorities in physically looking for the two men at some point.

Sweat and Matt have been on the run since they escaped from the Clinton County Correctional Facility on June 6th.
