Get ready to push yourself to the limits because the Dirty Cause Challenge is coming to Whitney Point on Saturday, October 24th from 10am-1pm and it's for a good cause.

The Dirty Cause Challenge is a 5K challenge race charity fund raiser and the money raised  will support breast cancer awareness, northern Broome first responders and the Whitney Point Rotary.

The course for the Dirty Cause Challenge is on the grounds of Ford Hill Country Club, which if you haven't been there, has fantastic views of Dorchester Lake and the surrounding valleys.

This Challenge isn't for the faint of heart though with over 1000 foot elevation changes and 14 unique obstacles that take advantage of the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

The first race (also called the elite race) will be a timed trophy winning event. All other events will be run in a challenge format. What's the challenge? To finish the race however you can.

The entry fee for the race includes race entry, an event shirt, a food ticket and a beverage ticket.

Not able to participate? That's okay as spectators are encouraged to attend to cheer on those participating. There will be a cash bar and food concessions for spectators.
