Dierks Bentley has landed the 14th No. 1 song of his career with "Somewhere on a Beach," his newest single. The gold-certified tune is the fastest-rising single of Bentley's career so far.

"Somewhere on a Beach" has, for two weeks now, secured the top spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts. The singer admits that fans' response to the single is exactly what he wanted, but he's still surprised at how quickly the track made its way to the top of the charts.

""Somewhere on a Beach" is setting up our summer just like we wanted and putting fans in the mood to party out on the tour,” shares Bentley in a press release. “I’m blown away at the reception of the new music, and I can’t wait to start peeling back more layers of the album with the other songs.”

“Somewhere on a Beach” is the first single from Bentley’s upcoming eighth studio album, Black, which is due out on May 27. In addition to “Somewhere on a Beach,” fans have already been able to hear “I’ll Be the Moon,” featuring Maren Morris, and “What the Hell Did I Say” from the new project.

Fans will be able to hear "Somewhere on a Beach" live this summer, as Bentley has begun his 2016 Somewhere on a Beach TourRandy Houser, Cam and Tucker Beathard are joining the country star on the road as his special guests. More information can be found on Bentley’s website.
